Friends are Lamps
by Chinyere Nwosu, 2018
Life has many colours
That brighten our days
It kindles the little light from within
Yellow, red, blue or green
The brightness spread and show the way
Oh! What a privilege to have the lamps all around
As friends that bless and cheer you on
You my friends are these lamps
That keep the day bright and warm
